The inter-mold® technology is compatible with a range of materials, including polypropylene, polyethylene, polyamide, polyacetal (POM), thermoplastic elastomers (Shore D) and VICTREX PEEK™. The inter-mold® hooks can fasten to a large variety of loop-bearing materials, including texturised and brushed loops.
The inter-mold® technology has applications in the automotive, medical, cleaning, civil-engineering and boating sectors; it is protected by a number of patents throughout the world.
This technology is implemented with the use of tooling inserts that create small hooks. The hooks are moulded during a standard injection cycle (one-shot). The process is environmentally friendly, as it reduces the need for adhesives, and also enables users to develop products with more innovative designs.
